Our Story

Founded on a simple belief.

Good work deserves good books. Too many nonprofits and small businesses run on spreadsheets held together with hope — and pay for it later in stress, scrambles, and missed opportunities.

We started Mission Ledger Books to change that. Our name says it plainly: your mission comes first, and the ledger exists to support it. We handle the numbers with precision and care so leaders can get back to what they do best — serving their communities and growing their businesses.

Whether it's a founder's very first set of books or a multi-fund nonprofit with grant reporting to manage, we bring the same standard to all of it. No job is too small or too big.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Michelle.

I've spent more than 20 years in accounting and finance — accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and payroll — and I built Mission Ledger Books to put that experience to work for the businesses and nonprofits that need it most.

I'm Intuit-Certified in QuickBooks, with ongoing training in QuickBooks Online and Intuit's newest accounting and AI-powered tools — and I've worked hands-on across the major accounting and finance systems, so wherever your books live, I can meet you there.

My approach is simple: accurate records, clear communication, and dependable service. Keeping up with the financial side of a business is hard when you're already managing everything else — so my team and I take that off your shoulders, keep you organized, and give you real confidence in your numbers. No job is too small or too big.
